* This is a guide. In reality the age range in each group varies a little depending on experience and needs.

What does it cost?

All groups are booked and paid for termly in advance.

Saturday groups have an average of 6 sessions per term. Depending on when the holidays and the annual Forest School Conference fall, this can vary by +or–1 session. The termly price for Saturdays is averaged at 6 below, but in reality you will be charged for the actual number of sessions.

Tiny Acorns meet weekly in term time. The price below is averaged at 12 sessions per term for Autumn & Summer. We take a break between Christmas and February half term, so Spring term is just 6-7 sessions.

We believe that ALL children should have access to Forest School, and this is reflected in our prices.

How it works

Once a child is enrolled, we want them to be able to stay for as long as they want to. From Tiny Acorns, Mighty Oaks grow! Through attending long-term and moving up through the groups, they can build a life-long connection with nature; make good friends; build resilience; master some skills; and be part of a deeply rooted community which they have helped to shape. The same adults at forest school will journey with them through the years, building strong relationships of reciprocity and trust.

Once you have enrolled, we contact you a month before the end of each term, to check whether you wish to continue. If you do, we invoice you for the next term and you keep your place. If you don’t, we give your child a good send-off at the end of term, and offer the place to someone on the waiting list.

Because the groups are so long term, Saturday places don’t become available very often. Tiny Acorns places come available more regularly, especially in the afternoons.
